‘World class’ employee engagement survey response rate at SUEZ in the UK

This autumn we held our fifth U Say employment engagement survey, which takes place every other year. It is an online survey allowing every employee to anonymously share their views about working for SUEZ recycling and recovery UK.
As in previous years, the survey asks questions relating to eight factors of engagement: leadership, my manager, my company, my team, wellbeing, giving something back, personal growth and fair deal.
‘World class’ response rate result in 2019
At SUEZ, the engagement levels of our staff are very important to us and so we are incredibly pleased that over 84% of our people took the time to complete the survey. Best Companies describe our response rate as ‘world class’, with the average response rate for other similar organisations being 56%.
I am proud that our people are willing and keen to share their feedback about working at SUEZ. The results will help us to understand why they see it as a great place to work and give us their thoughts on how we can make it an even better company to work for.
A big thank you from me to everyone who has played a part, however large or small, in ensuring that everyone at SUEZ in the UK knows that they have a voice and for helping provide the opportunity for their thoughts to be heard. It truly was a SUEZ team effort to be proud of!
I am thrilled that SUEZ pledged to donate £5 to Macmillan Cancer Support for every employee who took part in the survey. As a result SUEZ recycling and recovery UK will donate £20,000 to the charity on behalf of the 84% of employees that responded.
But our work is not done…
It doesn’t stop here. This is where the work really begins, together we will now share our results throughout all the teams across our business and act on the valuable feedback we have received.Tweet
